Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the ISPS Handa World Invitational. There are a number of 

volunteer roles, not all of which may be available at your preferred course.  Possible roles are listed below. Should

Roles Available:

          Walking scorers 

Full training will be given for this role which involves recording and sending the scores for each player in the 

group as quickly and efficiently as possible at the conclusion of each hole. The Walking Scorer will operate 

inside the ropes within a minimum 5m distance to the players, and a good understanding of the game is 

preferable.

          On course Leader Board operators

Each leader board will receive score updates and a radio for communication with Score Control. All leader 

board operators will receive full one-on-one tuition from a member of the Scoring Team.

​

          Practise Facilities Marshal

Providing assistance with running and managing the practise facilities e.g. collecting & sorting balls. This can be 

a quite strenuous job with early starts and late finishes.

​

          Course Marshal / Ball Spotters 

May be located either on the tee or landing zone. 

Tee marshal - Using the ball flight indicator to show the fairway marshal the direction of ball flight. 

Fairway Marshal - Assist in ball spotting and reporting all errant shots
